Doesn´t exceed anymore. 1000- Lakes 1971 Seppo Utrianen was leading the rally at one moment and was driving to safety 3th place overall before fuelpump fail.

Seppo Utriainen was leading the rally with a minute and pushed strongly by Stig Blomqvist. This results a tiny mistake in SS 22 Simpsiö, where Co-Drivers door´s and side hit to the ditch and front steering damaged when swinging arm move 3 cm backwards. Utriainen with BSX-11 lost some 20 seconds.

Upper left: Volvo 142/Eero Soutulahti managed to drive one fastest SS time in the event.

Upper right: Red Saab 96 Coming winner Stig Blomqvist

Down left: Red Sunbeam 900 / Kirsi Pätiälä finished second in class 7 under 1000cc.

Down right: Blue & White SAAB 96/ Seppo Utriainen. Because some steering problems he lost the leading and drove safe third position until SS 31 Sääksjärvi, where the car´s fuel pump and -pipe get blocked and the engine doesn´t get any fuel.
